2nd Annual Quilt Scholarship Raffle
The proceeds of this raffle will help fund a $500 scholarship for a North Warren graduate interested in a Library Science, Literature, or related college major.
The 63” square quilt was handmade and donated by Karen Pelletier. The drawing will be held in May 2023.

This website is funded and managed by The Friends of the Town of Chester Public Library, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to supplement the budget of the Town of Chester Public Library. The Friends of the Library uses proceeds from fund raising events and membership fees to host educational events, provide programming for children, and to purchase books, periodicals and equipment for the library.
The Library, and Municipal Center, will be closed Saturday May 20 due to a planned power outage by National Grid.
The Southern Adirondack Audubon Society has donated a birdwatching back pack for our patrons to check out. The kit includes:
A birding adventure book
A fold up, laminated Birds of NY Guide
Birding locations in the Chester area
A Rite in the Rain birding journal which will be passed on to others who check it out,
New Year's Day

Day after Thanksgiving
If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the day of observance shall be the preceding Friday.
If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the day of observance will be the following Monday.
